How It Works

The Fundraiser Project

We developed the Worship School as a self-sustaining project, so that each church does not have to disburse or spend any resources. By the work developed and the mobilization of students and parents, we can raise funds for the ministry itself to continue blessing the community.

The resources for this project come from the parents of each student who register and pay an affordable fee. This fee provides their child with a printed Lesson Book, access to 12 classes in the semester, and access to an app with learning content. The child will also participate in the Worship Night Experience.

We suggest $240 per student. Within this value is included:

Lesson Book

A practical and dynamic method for each instrument designed to introduce students to music theory in a minimum amount of time.

Worship School APP

Our exclusive App with access to video exercises, playalongs, and features for coordinators, instructors and students.

12 Weekly Classes

The worship school is organized as a 12-week program consisting of group classes with individual performance and growth evaluations.

Worship Night

A chance for students to play with their teachers in front of their parents and focus on worshipping Jesus together, rather than just presenting.

Afordable and Sustainable

From research carried out, we know that this value is fully accessible to families and is below the normal cost of private instrument lessons. Whenever we talk about the worship school, we don’t just present it as a music class, but as a school that teaches principles of worship and music in order to prepare a generation of worshipers and that our classes take place in a group, so with all the attention that the teachers they give intensely to each student, does not compare with the attention given by a teacher in a private class. At the same time, the benefits of learning music in a group develop principles of respect and community necessary for future group playing in the local church.

Payment will be made by the parents directly to the church hosting the Worship School. The Church can decide the means of payment and the forms: Credit Card, Cash, Check, payment in full or in installments.

The host church pays $90 per registered student to cover curriculum costs such as book manufacturing, APP access. After the report made by the supervisor within our APP requesting the number of books per instrument and per level, an INVOICE will be generated for the church to make the payment.

Focus on Worship

Bible and Worship

In our lesson book, each class we will bring a brief teaching with biblical principles about worship, which will lead the students to understand their calling as worshipers. Weekly we propose and challenge the students to read a chapter from the Bible. At the end of each class, we always remind students that before starting their studies, ask the Holy Spirit to empower you to worship God as He deserves to be worshiped.

Worship Night

At the end, we have the WORSHIP NIGHT, a special night of worship where the students play with the teachers in the presence of their parents! We took this opportunity to teach them that even though parents are present, our goal is not to make a “presentation” but to invite them to worship Jesus with us, just like in a church!

Pastor’s Reviews

Purposeful, impactful, life-changing

I absolutely love the Worship School! Seeing the kids grow in their talents and abilities is important, but seeing them use those talents to worship God is everything! Words cannot express how powerful the worship night experience is at the end of each semester. Parents come in to watch their kids “perform” but leave having instead seen heaven meet earth through an encounter with the presence of God! I highly recommend Worship School to each and every kids ministry or private school!
Pastor Matt McKay – Trinity Church, Cedar Hill-TX

Supernaturally impactful, financially viable, and blessed.

Seeing a community impacted is the prayer of every pastor who desires a church of significant influence, and with the Worship School implemented in our church and community, we can witness this objective being realized. More than a music school, it is a school of worship.
Pastor Kedney Simões – The Lighthouse Church, Dallas-TX

Efficient, blessed, Anointed!

It has been a real blessing to host Worship School at our church. Our kids were able to learn what worship really is. They learned not only the musical part of it but they were able to connect with God through their gift. We really appreciate Ney and all the teachers that made this School of Worship possible… and we are looking forward to starting that new level for our students.”
Pastor Francisco J Verdugo – Vida Abundante Church, Dallas-TX

Innovation, Creativity, Empowerment

“The innovation that Worship School brings to churches is highly relevant as it aims to raise up the worship leaders of the next generation. It is a project that empowers children and teenagers to live out God’s calling and flow in music, but above all, it brings heaven to earth through worship!”
Pastor Rafael Prata – Lagoinha Church, Tampa-FL

Done!!! So, are you ready?

Who will be serving as instructor?

The Worship School has 3 well-defined targets in order of priority:

  1. Prepare and introduce children, teenagers and adults to the worship ministry.
  2. Raise money so the ministry continues to bless the local community.
  3. Engage, train, and bless youth and adults at church who can play instruments to be instructors at the Worship School.

One of the values of the Worship School is to teach as little music theory as possible in order for our students to play their instruments quickly, so instructors do not necessarily need to have extensive teaching experience or be an excellent musician, because all class content has already been defined by our team of professional musicians trained to do so. Each exercise was thought and planned so that the student has a gradual and pedagogical growth in each class. Instructors will have access to the Lesson Book and prepare to teach children the already established content and apply the exercises that are in the booklet. In addition, in each class we have documents to help with the worship school overview and tips on preparing students for Worship Night. Anyone who can play the instrument at the basic level is able to teach the first chords and beats in a lively and thoughtful way, they just need to understand the heart of the project and invest time with the students.

The host church decides how to compensate the instructor for the lessons.

How to buy the Instruments?

Of all the classes that we offer 3 of them do not require the church to buy instruments, for these classes the children will bring their own instruments from home. These classes are (guitar, bass, and vocal). However, in some cases the church may not wish to invest in buying the keyboards and drums. In those cases students will need their own. We do recommend that the church invests in those instruments.

How to Promote?

Our team is prepared to share with the church a folder with all the necessary materials such as flyer arts, videos, stories, screen arts in order to promote the Worship School to the community and on the church’s social media. All publicity material, including lesson books, will have the church logo at the top, showing that this is a project hosted and run by the church in order to develop children, young people and adults. This is a very strong cause and the church can use the project to inform the community that it is investing in the preparation of the new generation.

My child has never taken lessons. Will they participate in the Worship Night?

Yes! All students will learn the basic skills needed to participate in the worship band on Worship Night.

How often should my child practice?

tudents should practice at least 15 minutes for 5 days each week. The material and video on the app will remind them what was taught during that week’s lesson.

Can I schedule a make-up lesson or get a refund if my child misses one of the group lessons?

Because of the timeline associated with the Worship Night, make-up lessons are not usually possible. Additionally, because teachers are staffed based on the number of students enrolled, we cannot process refunds. However, if your child misses a group lesson, they may learn that week’s concept by reviewing the video and training material on the app.

How can I access the materials and videos on the app?

You will get the printed book and access to the App directly from your coordinator during the mandatory parent meeting.
